Shearwater + Xiu Xiu = Blue Water White Death

Si sono messi insieme Jamie Stewart degli Xiu Xiu e Jonathan Meiburg degli Shearwater. Non in senso affettivo, ma musicale, e il risultato è una band chiamata Blue Water White Death.
'Pitchfork' ci dice che il nome del gruppo deriva da un documentario del 1971 sugli squali australiani, ma soprattutto ci informa del fatto che il prossimo 12 ottobre la Graveface Records pubblicherà il disco d'esordio (omonimo) del duo.
L'LP (nella foto la copertina) è prodotto da John Congleton, contiene 8 brani con titoli piuttosto strambi. Eccoveli: 'This Is the Scrunchyface of My Dreams', 'Song for the Greater Jihad', 'Grunt Tube', 'Nerd Future', 'The End of Sex', 'Death for Christmas', 'Gall', 'Rendering the Juggalos'.
